I finally had some time to take some photo's of Atticus this afternoon - it is late Summer here in Georgia and you can see that he has matured into a very, very handsome young man!    He is a happy boy and really doesn't know that he is any different from the other dogs - he tires a bit more quickly than the other dogs and has a very different walk than the others but he can also run and play ,  is fearless and loves his friend  Maggie May.    Atticus has a bed in the foyer of our home because he has declared himself  "Defender of the Door" - and he takes his job seriously.   People are afraid of him when they first arrive because he is a pro at guarding his home.

He is still getting around well - I think he may have gotten a little too heavy but he has such well developed haunches now that he is absolutely gorgeous.   I will have to work at getting a bit of weight off of his middle just to make it easier on him.    Special Thanks to all of you who have supported him, love him and keep him in your thoughts.
